'"Takapuna" complains of the timetable between North Shore and Lake Takapuna not being adhered to, buses often leaving the Lake before the time fixed and the Shore very considerably after.
"Old Landmark" comments on the laws wbicj punish for drunkenness and crimes arising out of drunkenness, instead of an effort beinj? niade to strike at the root of the trouble.
"D" writes: ''I am prepared to go a long way with your correspondent "Patience Exhausted," and sympathise with him very deeply. Though not a resident in Curraji-street, my professional duties take mc that way at times, and the irritation and annoyance so upsets my nervous system that I am at times unable to use my instruments.
