Mr. Henry Arden Temperton, of Symondarstreet, was driving home in a spring trap from Henderson, yesterday afternoon, when as he was crossing Kar-angahape-road, a dizziness seized him, and lie lost control of the horse, which in consequence ran the vehicle into a centre-pole, throwing the driver out. The result was a slight concussion of the brain and considerable bruising, but after temporary attendance, he sufficiently recovered to' be taken home. In the course of the annual report of the Pamell Liberal and Labour Federation, which was read at the annual; meeting last night, it was stated that in regard to. the tramway difficulty, it was satisfactory to note that the company had acceded: to the representations of the branch thai sectional c,ars should be run to relieve the congested traffic, but the time had now come: when effective measures: should be taken by- the local bodice to compel the. oampany to more caws. ~.. „
