THE HOME TEAM.
SYDNEY PRESS COMMENT. (Received 10.24 a-m.) SIDNEY, this day. The following New South Wales team will meet the All Blacks to-morrow:— Full back: Dix. Three - quarters: Messenger, Smith, Russell, and Waddell.
Halves: Mandible and Wood.
Forwards: Rosewell, Griffin, Barnett, McCue, Burge, Row, Hughes, Murnin. The arrival of the team yesterday marked the anniversary of the departure of the first New South Wales team to New Zealand twenty-five years ago. The " Sydney Morning Herald," in a sub-leader devoted to. the All Blacks, says:—"The interest in a healthy sport will receive a strong stimulus and encouragement by the visit of the New Zealand footballers and the local feeling, amounting almost to enthusiasm, which it has excited."
