BRITISH STEAMER WRECKED.

Six Lives Lost. (Received 8.47 a-m.) VANCOUVER, Jujy 8. The British steamer Mount Royal (8747 tons) has been wrecked at Skeena River, British Columbia. Six persons on board of her were drowned. [The Mount Royal, owned by Messrs. Elder, Dempster, and Company, of Liverpool, was built at Newcastle in 1898.]
