WAIKATO NOTES.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The annual installation of the W.M. and investiture of officers of Lodge Beta, Waikato, took place last night. The ceremony was conducted by V.N. Bro. Maclean. Bro. H. Coop is master for the ensuing year. A conference of local bodies failed to agree on the allocation, for the erection and maintenance of the Hamilton traffic bridge. A Royal Commission will be necessary. No. 1 company (Hamilton), composed of Messrs Eyre, Melville, Ranstead (2), Ramsay, Revell, Penniket, and Proudlock, won the challenge shield at the volunteer encampment at Raglan, Cambridge being second.
