The "Evening Star" states that the professional football team will positively leave for England after the return of the New Zealand team from Australia, and that it will include several members of the visiting team to the other side. A well-known Aucklander and an '•All Black" (presumably George Smith), will captain the professionals'. In view of the recognised weakness of the backs, an effort will be made to strengthen that division for Australia.
