The Victoria Cruising Club's third anniiai •picnic took place at Pine Island on Saturday afternoon last, when there was a good attendance of members and their friends. The picnickers were conveyed to the? Island in the ferry steamer Victoria. Calms'" and light airs prevailed, throughout the race, and the boats did not arrive till late. The finishing times were: Moana, Sh Tim ss; Ida, Sh 20m.
