6. That the aid of the Trades and iabocr Councils, unions, industrial assocstkiLa, and public bodies should be •utilised to further the advancement of Joeal industries.

T. That this committee strongly irges that the Government and all ladies dealing with public expenditure aurald be requested to give preference •i-sever possible to the manufactures _t-productions of the eolonv.

T_ committee also make suggestions for the effectual carrying out of the irerk outlined in the report, the most important being as follows:
