HAMILTON IMPROVEMENTS.
(By Telegraph —Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. A poll of ratepayers carried the following proposals: Purchase of gas works, £12,000; traffic bridge, £12,000; streets, £13,000; drainage, £5000; deficiency town hall, £472; waterworks, £5119. The proposals for a tranrway between Hamilton and Frankton, and for the purchase of a recreation ground* were lost.
