There was a good attendance a.t Mr J. Thornes land sale this day, -when the following properties were disposed of: An unfurnished building in Eden Terrace on allotment 40ft. to Alexanderstreet by 90ft. brought £265. A 7roomed residence in Curran-street with allotment 63ft, to Curran-street, and 120 ft. to TVeed-street was sold (privately) for £660. A 5-roomed cottage in Cardwell-street, Onohunga, having 90ft. frontage by about 100 ft. in the estate of Mrs Mozes. was sold for £295; two cottages, standing in allotment 40ft. by 145 ft.. in First avenue. Kingsland, and producing 24/ a week rental, were sold after brisk competition for £435; and an allotment in Onehunga was sold without reserve for £12 7/6.
