RUMOURED CABINET CHANGES.

WELLINGTON, this day.
Certain mysterious hints which havp reference to a Southern member whose name has stood prominently on the list of prospective Ministers have been wafted about in the world of officialdom during the past day or two, which leads one to suppose that the Premier is about to spring a political surprise. The 'inner section of the Government party profess to discredit all rumours in re•sgard -to Cabinet reconstruction, and aver that such a result will not come about until at least the party has been well in caucas next June. When questioned by a "Star" reporter as to whether or not he was in a position to throw some light on the subject, a Northern representative who is new to Parliamentary honours replied to the following effect: "Candidly speaking, I am quite in the dark as to the -Premiers intentions, bat if there is anything in this talk of reconstruction it must come out in the course of a day or two. If not, you may take it for granted that the Ministry will remain as it is. I radios to the latter toW
