MATCH WITH AIICKLtAND TO-MORROW. The Melbourne Cricket Club's team, whkh arrived in Auckland on Sunday lasr, is returning from a brief visit to Rotorua by to-day's express. At. 2 p.m. to-morrow they * commence their first mat-c-h in Xew "Zealand on the Domain Cricket Ground., when they meet the Auckland reps. The Melbourne t«am is a strong combination, and some very interesting cricket may be expected. W. W. Armstrong, the finest player of the last Australian eleven, heads* the team, and with such batjr as Armstrong, McLeod, Ra-nsford, Mailer and Vaughan at the. wk-kets the play will undoubtedly be very attractive. "The visiting team will be finally selected to-night from the following, twelve, of whom one will be dropped: W. W. Armstrong (captain). C. E. McLeod. V. Ba.nsford.-D. Mailer. P. Yaughan, A. A. Aitken, P. J. Jenn ing-s. C. Layer, G. Henty, Wilkinson, and Butler. The Auckland eleven consists of A. Hadden (captain) and J. Hussey (North Shore), W. Stemson. H. B. Lusk. and W.
