CARNITAL AT KINGSLANO* * On. Saturday nest a carnival will be fceld on the Eden Cricket Club's ground at Kingsland. in which the Rugby. Association and Australian styles of the football game, and that o* hockey, will be expounded an* illustrated by specially selected teams of players. The parcne organisation ef each game is taking a keen interest in the proposal, and the Hockey Association will send in a ladies* as well as a men's team." The proceeds of the carnival will be devoted te the funds of the District Cricket Club, lit whose behalf tbe carnival is organised. The Association football teams for the Eden Cricket Club's carnival at Kingsland on Saturday are as follow: — Representative team (bine and white): Goal, Bennett (Ivanhoe); full-backs, Newton (Tabernacle), Booth (W.Y.M.I. A); half-hacks, Ueley (City), Olden (Smith and Caughey's), Harcsnape. (Corinthians); forwards, Harrison (North Shore), Fleming (City), Barber (Corinthians). Castles (St. John's). Mikkelsou (Corinthians), reserves. Whitehead (W.Y.M.I. a). Smith (Tabernacle). Pearman (Ivanhoe). Combined team (red and black): Goal, Brewer (Tabernacle); f nil-backs, Webster (Ponsonby). Ritchie (Pousonhy): half-backs. Yates (Corinthians). Audinwood (Corinthians). Meldrum. captain (Corinthians); forwards, Bimmery (Ponsonby), J. Clark (Tabernacle). Dacre (North Shorel. Bradshaw (Ponsonby). Taberner (Ponsouby); reserves, Ernie (Ponsonby), Blaekie (Tabernacle).
