THE AWAROA EXCURSION.

After a pleasant trip yesterday to the upper waters of the Wairoa and a visit to Wairua Falls the party invited to the initial trip of the Awaroa were to* day shown something of the working of the kauri bush on McGregor and Harris' contract at Kaihu. Leaving here about 1 it. is anticipated town <wjfl be reached before 20 to night.
