NORTH SUOHE ROWING CLUB. The postponed races from a recent "At Home" were rowed at Cheltenham R«ieli on Saturday. Crows stroked by W. Oliver, W. I.ojraii and J. I*. Gerrard competed in the film!. The winning crew were: J. I. Gerrurd (stroke). G. Oartcr. 1). Richardson, S. Withy, and L. Splnley (cox). HAMILTON ROWING CLUB. This club held their first races on Friday. The following are the results:—First heat: Fablinir, Grace. Munro, and Jolly, 1; Second heat: C. Holloway, A. Holloway, A. Primrose, 11. Chalmers:, 1. Third heat: R. ('. D_v»ds-on. G. I. Murray. G. Boyes, li. Sliera, 1. Th:; final was won by Holla way's crew. The final heat of The Ladies' i Pair-oar Race w\s won by Misses Stanley i and Bongard. On time allowance Janet, is first, Kotiri second, and Karcre I third. j WAITEMATA BOATING CLUB. | j Trial fours for trophies presented by Messrs Bailey and -Lowe were rowed on I Saturday. Gri__-, and Brewin (cox.) WEST END ROWING CLUB. The -'upside down" trials held by this club -cm Saiunlay proved very successful. 'Ilie first heat resulted in a victory for Cowan's combination by a quarter "of a leiij-tu: Karrell's four won the second heat by a foot only: the third heat proved a dead heat between crews stroked by Haven ami Cole, tile t'nlrci crew being- only two feet behi-nd: the fourth race was won by Menzie's four by three-quarters of a length. lv the linal tbe live crews competed, and a I pood race ensued.
