WATER EXCURSION AND GARDEN PARTY AT TAKAPUNA.

Owing to the very threatening state of the weather it seems possible that the water excursion to members of the Synod, and the garden party at Mr H. Brett's, Lake Takapuna, will have to be postponed to-morrow. A decision will be arrived at by 10.;'.0 Thursday morning as to whether the state of the elements necessitates the postponement of these events, and the information Will be available after that time from any of the following four sources:—Diocesan Office (W. S. Cochrane, Shortlandstreet), Synod Hall, St. Sepulchre's Schoolroom, Sunday-school Union offices (Mr Edmiston, Queen-street), and from Mr Harbutt, secretary of the Liedertafel.
