At Te Awamutu yesterday Michael Horan pleaded guilty to a charge of horse-stealing, and was sentence;! to six nionths' imprisonment. A very good likeness of Mr 11. X. Warner, the work of .Miss A. M. Moore, of Palmerston Buildings, i- on view at Foster and ('«..'... Queen-street. Th" portrait is of special interest, as .Mr Warner is now Auckland's oldest Inhabitant, having arrived here 04 year- ago. and is still wonderfully*hale for an octogenarian. Ilenning has now removed his motor and cycle business to the much larger premises in Queen street (lately occupied bly Messrs. Wallis and Caley) opposite the Xational Bank.—Ad.
