PICNICS.
AUCKLAND CO-OPERATIVE BOOT ANT-
SHOE CO., LIMITED
The employees of the Auckland Co-oper-ative Boot and Shoe Co., Ltd., held their eleventh annual picnic on Saturday last at Brown's Bay. Perfect weather prevailed, and the picnic proved most enjoyable. A programme of sports was gone through, the winners receiving prizes. An excellent stiing band composed of employees of the company played a number of selections, and added greatly to the enjoyment of the day. About 150 were present at the picnic, the party returning to town at S o'clock, after a very enjoyable outing.
