STRIKE RIOTS IN GENEVA.
A CAVALRY CHARGE
BERNE, October 11. The strike leaders in Geneva have been arrested
Several thousand strikers demanded the resignation of a tramway official, and the infantry were ordered to clear the streets, but t-heir efforts were unsuccessful.
The cavalry, with drawn sabres, then charged"the rioters-and wounded several.
Forty-nine Anarchists have been arrested and a number expelled.
