TTMARU, Tuesday

Mr W. D. Campbell, formerly editor of the "Timaru Post," and latterly of the Wellington "Sun," has been commissioned by the Government to write up the history of the doings of the New Zealand contingents in South Africa.

[Mr Campbell for some time acted as special correspondent for the Auckland "Star" in South Africa during the war.]
