A fatal accident occurred at Kawhia yesterday. Mr Benjamin Clarkson, owner of a steam-launch, was killed by being crushed between the top of the wharf and the deckTiou.se. His spine was injured several ribs fractured. He lingered several hours, during which he made his will. He leaves a widow and family in Atickland.
