For the Tenth Contingent about 50 volunteers came forward here. Having passed all tests, the following- were selected: —Privates E. Bullians, J. Sutherland, X- Thorburn (Marsden Mounted Rifles); H. Bellamy (Piako Mounted* Rifles), E. Wallbank, R. Wallbank, E. G. Thomas, H. Skeilern (.Whangarei Rifles), W. Cully (Kawakawa Rifles), H. B. Menzies, H. Rowlands, Lewis Williams,. J. Walsh, iv. Madden, D. Ruddell, J. Clive. F. Bramley, C. Holmes, T. Davidson, F. Whlcldon, W. Lynch, G. Dennison, R.. Williams; H. Drever (cirl7;ann). Captain headman and Lieutenant. Kevte acted •as exa mmming1 officers, and Surgeon-Captain IT. Hall is examining surgeon. The re.cruits leave here on Tuesday for. Auckland.
