THIRD GRADE.

St. Alban's v. V.M.C.A.—V.M.C.A., Ist innings, 77; 2nd, 6 wickets for 119. Strange (25). Lawry (12), Morris (22), Hay (23), De Baugh (10 not out), were the chief scorers. St. Alban's, Ist innings, 9 wickets for 75; 2nd innings, 7 wickets for 02. This match ended in a draw. The draw was brought about by the splendid stonewalling of Tom. Moncur and Nield, the former scoring 22 not out, and the latter 11. Blakey also showed good form for 11. It would be as well if the Association could see their way clear to cancel the last two St. Alban's engagements (with Gordon and United), and let this match be played again on Saturday next to a finish. Messrs De Baugh and Blakey, the respective captains, are quite agreable, as they find if this is not done that some four weeks will elapse before they will have an opportunity of again meeting.
