Ferns (G.A.). — To successfully export ferns to Australia, you must take a little trouble iv preparing them. What I would do would be lo get a packingcase and bore a few holes through the bottom. Then spread a thin layer of gravel in the bottom, and on top of the gravel place about S inches of good soil. Afterwards collect tiie ferns one by one, it you like, and plant in the soil til the case is full. Keep the case in a cool shady place, and see that plenty
