THE ACCOMMODATION OF GUESTS.

WELLINGTON, Monday

With regard' to the guests of the New South Wales Government, at the Commonwealth celebrations, it is officially stated that it is the intention of the New South Wales Government to receive as their guests and arrange for the payment of the expenses of the Governors, LieutenantGovernors, and others of the more important official personages, who will receive separate and special invitations. With regard to the other guests to whom invitation cards have been sent, it is understood that the New South Wales Government will extend every, courtesy, and attention to them on their arrival, and during their stayin Sydney, besides inviting them to the ,various functions it. is proposed to hold- in connection with the celebrations; but it will be impossible to provide, them with hotel or, lodging accommodation. The Ministry, however, is arranging that the guests who are themselves unable to obtain accommodation, may, upon application to the general secretary of the New South Wales-Government Celebrations of the Commonwealth, 14, C%stle-reagh-street, Sydney, obtain a list of apartments available and terms, and he will, if so desired, book accommodation.
