PRODUCE EXPORTS.

WELLINGTON, this day

A return, published by the Agricultural Department, shows the quantity and value of produce exports for the month of November to have been as follows:— Cwt. Value. Butter 24,999 ..£106,825 Cheese 5,727 .. 13,479 Beef 19-769 •• 24,895 Carcase mutton... 54,495 .. 07,694 Legs and pieces... 3,033 .. 3,339 Lamb 349 .. 525 All show an increase as compared with November, 1599, except mutton. Carcase mutton shows a decrease in number of 91,403 carcases, and value of £44,622, and legs and pieces show a decrease in value of £3992.

The value of the exports from April to November, inclusive, is:—Butter £261.356, cheese £106,672, beef £217,558, mutton £675,053, and lamb £418,109. .

For eight months of this year, as compared with last, mutton shows a decrease of £175,855.
