LORD CARRINGTON AND THE COLONIALS.
AN AGENT-GENERAL'S ATTACK.

Mr Copeland, the New South ft/ales. Agent-General, in a letter to the "Times," sharply attacks Lord Carririgton for his interference in connection with the advances to colonial invalids, and accuses him of deliberately insulting and slandering New South Wales hy implying that all the other colonial Governments attended to their soldiers, while jW South Wales neglected hers, whereas .32 New South Wales men received £71G, the highest amount advanced hy any colony.
