A few days ago at Palmi, a little town on the Calubre.se shore of the Straits of Messina, a trial, which baa attracted general attention, was brought to a conclusion. Eighty five were acquitted, and the rest sentenced to A*arious periods amounting in the aggregate to 842 years.
