REMUERA SCHOOL CONCERT.

The annual concert in connection with the public school, Remuera, took place in St. Mark's Parish Hall, Remuera, last evening, before a. very large audience. Tbe children, who were trained by Miss Ingall and other ladies, gave character songs and tableaux in a very pleasing manner. The choruses were "Caller Herrin," "CurlyHeaded Babby," "John Bull's LetterBag," "Soldiers in the Park," "Amazon March," and "The Lads in Navy Blue." The children wore costumes appropriate to each item. A Japanese fan song by the girls was perhaps the prettiest item on the programme. A tableaux and glee entitled "Ye Shepherds Tell Me," was given the vocalists being Miss Ingall, Mrs Sibbald, and Mr W. Dennison.* Mr Alcock's Bnowball troupe, consisting of Mrs W. J. Dennison, W. Cowan, A. C. Alcock, and A. and G. Dennison, amused the audience greatly, while Mr Perkins' orchestra played selections.
