Talisman Consolidated shares continued strong to-day, 22/6 being paid Waihi Consolidateds recovered from th_ recent decline, sales being made from 2/6 to 2/8, with buyers left at the. latter figure. Waihi Extendeds we're easier, being sold at 3/11, at which figure, however, more could have been-placed. In cheaper lines Imperials. sold at Od, May Queens were waxited at 9d, and May Queen Extendeds at 6d, while Kapowais had enquiry at..Bd, and Tairua Broken Hills at 1/. 11l - standard lines Nationals sold at 2-/6, and South British Insurance at 74/6. Other standard lines had strong 'enquiry at. late rates. Bank of New Zealand shares were firmer, being ;wanted at 92/. Kauri Timber paid up shares had buyers at 9/9.
