WELLINGTON, this day.

Mr Seadon has received the following cable from Major' Cradock, in command of the Second Contingent, dated 6th:—"Whilst deeply grieving for the death of our gallant men on 29th, I am pleased to say that the doctors inform me that they anticipate no danger to life or limb amongst the twenty-one wounded on the same day, except No. 418, Eobert EdwaTd Smyth, but all fought magnificently."
