Nominations for minor events are due to-night at nine o'clock.
Fulmen made his first appearance at Ellerslie this morning. He looks well, and did steady pacing ov.er two miles.
La Gloria is favourite for the Auckland Cup. Mr. Dan McLeod has pencilled the following Avagers in his volume: 300 to 21 Bluejacket, 400 to 32 Skobelofif, 300 to 15 Beddington, 500 to 30 Malatua, 200 to 20 Fulmen, 100 to 8 Ideal, 300 to 9 Knight of Athol, 300 to 30 Coronet. The owner of Miss Delaval has accepted a wager of 1000 to 100 about his mare.
Beddington got tlirougli a good gallop at EUerslie yesterday morning.
