PATERANGI.

On Friday evening- the caps won by the Paterangi Football Club in the inter-club matches of the Waipa Rugby Union were presented. A short musical programme was gone through and the President then conducted the presentation ceremony, during which he stated that during the last season seven matches'! had been played, six won, one lost, and another match given to Pirongia by default. Mr Macky (captain of the club) then presented the President (Mr F. C. Germann) with a very handsome inlfstand in recognition of his efforts on behalf of the club, while a referee's cap was presented to Mr Macky. A smoking-cap, which was to have been presented to Mr Thorpe, did not arrive in time for the concert.
