THE HON. J. G. WARD.

The Minister for Railways, the Hon. J. G. Ward, and party, arrived at Onehunga from New Plymouth by the s.s. Gairloch this afternoon, landing at 3.30 p.m. He came on to town by special train. During his visit Mr Ward will put up at the Star Hotel. The Minister is accompanied by Mr Konayne, chief manager of the New Zealand Railways; Mr Coom, chief engineer; and Mr A. T. Bea+tie, locomotive superintendent. .
