The Hon. J. G. Ward proceeds to Auckland to-day ("Wednesday) on official business, principally connected with the now postal arrangements. He and Mrs Ward have received an invitation to be present at the ceremonies in connection with the inauguration of the Coimnonwealtht, but at present it is doubtful whether he will be able to got away from his very onerous administrative duties. Nothing1, however, has been definitely settled.
