THE MILDURA.
TUe cruiser Mildura, whicn last visited fhis port on December 17 of last year, arrived from Wellington this morning, -anchoring ni the. man-of-war ground at 10 a.m.' The vessel left Wellington at 8 a.m. on Monday last, and on her way up the coast ran a <full, speed trial for several hours, an average or between 17 and 18 knot's being maintained. Pine weather and •rooQtn seas were experienced all the way op the coast. Shell, Who was here to the Goldfinch some years ago. Captain Baynes' officers are:— First lieutenant Collins, second lieutenant Ellis, third lieutenant Hideout, and sublieutenant Pophaai. Mr Baker is fleet engineer. Dr. May is surgeon, and Mr Greenwood pa3'tnaster. After landing a stbkwr who is suffering from pneumonia, and wh6 was removed to the hospital, the Mildura vent oat into the Gulf for big-gun prac* tico. She will remain, in P° ft nere for several weeks.
