PALMERSTON NORTH, this day-
At a meeting of the combined committees of the State schools last evening a resolution was carried that it is undesirable to establish a high school in connection with the primary school in Palmerston, or that any high school of the kind be established in Wanganui district at which scholarship boys shall be compelled to attend; that it is desirable a high school be established in Palmerston on similar lines to the-Blenheim high school; that a deputation wait on the Premier regarding the question, also on tech;nical school matters.
