A BROKEN SHOULDER BLADE.
A JOCKEY BADLY INJURED
The numerous friends of Mr T. 11. Lampard, the well-known intercolonial jockey, who resides at 15 Fisher-street, Adelaide, will be sorry to hear of his discomforture by reason of an accident whilst racing. It appears that whilst at Nairne races ha was riding his own horse, "Saunterer," which stumbled and fell. The animal rolled on top of him, broke his khoulder blade, fractured several ribs, and he was severely bruised nil over. Shortly after this, he began to feel a strange numbness in his limbs. This increased as time went on \intil one part of his body went quite dead with paralysis. He had no feeling whatever in this portion of his body, —at times a needle would be stuck in, but Mr Lampard would not know of it. Doctor after doctor was consulted, until the patient had tried seven practitioners in all. Some of them relieved him i'cr a. time, while others, he said, did not appear to benefit, him. Then he tried an clcc'ric belt, but found it no good. Month after month he lay perfectly helpless, a misery to himself and those around 1.-; m. Then he used Dr. Williams' pink pills. He took three boxes before feeling benefited, but from that time a great improvement was noticeable. He continued with the pills until quite cured. He says now:—"Dr. Williams' pink pills have made a _ound man of me again, and they have even cured me of complaints which troubled me for over twenty year's. I would not be without them if they cost a pound a. box. Before taking them I was a skeleton, and my weight was only Bst 51b; now I weigh 10.6, and am as healthy as I look."
