Buyers of Waihi shares advanced their offers to £9 11/6 to-day, which is the record price, for this stock. No sales were, however, made, as holders asked £0 13/. Talisman: shares also firmed,, buyers offering 11/6, and Crowns were still Wanted at 14/. Grace Darlings had demand: at 2/4, and Four-in-Hands at 4/4. In, cheap lines New Whaus sold at 3_d.j Standard stocks showed little change. National Banks were, however," wanted at 55/, and Auckland' Gas at £13 5/.
