ALL NATIONS' FAIR.

There was again a very large attendance at the New Zealand Natives' Association All' Nations' Fair in the Agricultural Hall last evening. The Fair promises to be a great success financially, and the various stalls, packed with all sorts of attractive goods, at very moderate prices, are doing big business. The inmates- of St. Stephen's Orphanage, Parnell, were present by invitation yesterday afternoon and were presented with toys, sweets and refreshments. The various side-shows were all patronised exceedingly well last evening. Attractive programmes were submitted during the afternoon and evening, and some very pretty dances were given by about 130 girls, trained by Miss Carrie Knight and Miss Mcllhone. The dances included fan dances, Amazon dances, Irish jigs and Japanese dances, and the living tableaux were very effective. During the evening a presentation of a riding whip was. made to the winning jockey in the Prince of Wales' Handicap, run at the A.R.C. races yesterday afternoon. Mr W. H. Churton, Vice-President of the Association, made the presentation, and handed the whip to Mr T. Taylor, the successful jockey. Songs were sung by Mr Edwards during the evening.

So far the proceeds of the Fair for the two days it 'has been open have totalled about £100, exclusive of the proceeds of tickets sold outside.

In connection with the British stall, in charge of Mrs O'Brien, we omitted yesterday to mention the name of Miss Fenwick, who is one of Mrs O'Brien's assistants. The costumes worn by the ladies in this stall are exceedingly tasteful and appropriate, as are, indeed, all the others in the Fair. Prominent amongst the many beautiful fancy articles in Mrs O'Brien's department are some fine panels by the Nuns, and .a very well executed and handsome drape by the Sisters of St. Joseph's Convent School.

The Fair will be open again this evening, when a very attractive programme will be gone through.
