Mr Ford, the Parliamentary candidate for Waitemata, addressed a meeting at Oroville (Great Barrier) on Monday night, the first occasion on which a political meeting has been held in Oroville. There were about fifty men and several ladies present. Mr Ford announced himself a supporter of the present Government and received an appreciative hearing. WELLINGTON NOTES.
