Mr Jackson Palmer addressed the electors of Waitckauri the night before last, Mr Snow in the chair. A vote of thanks and confidence was moved and an amendment of thanks till all the candidates had been heard. The vote of confidence was earned with only one dissentient. The chairmr*. said this was the first vote of confidence yet carried in Waitekauri this year.
