TO CORRESPONDENTS.
Sowing Anemonne and Ranunculus Seed (Amateur;.—Now is the best time ot the year for sowing seeds of the above. Ihe seed is best sown in moderately rich, light soil, but there should be no litter manure used, as a little white aphis is sure to generate in it, which would destroy the seedlings. Sow in your seed in rows about nine inches; apart; sow thickly. The seedlings should make their appearance during May. Afterwards they should be kept free of weeds. Next spring- towards the end of October, ov beginning of November, some of them will flower. About the middle of December they should be ripe enough for lifting. After lifting, dry and store past.
