AEKIVAL AT ROTORUA
His Excellency, Loi'd T-Janfurly, Goveriioa of New Zealand, arrived at Rotorua yesterday evening by coach from Wairakei and Waiotapu. The viceregal party reached Whakarewarewa about five' p.m. yesterday and were warmly received by the Tuhonrangi natives, who reside there. To-day the party were to embark on the steamlaunch Hinemoa at Eotorua and make a "trip across the Lake to Mokoia Island and to the Hamurana stream, at the far side of the lake. It was also intended to pay a. visit to Tikitere. The Ttotorua natives intend dancing" a 'haka' to-night for the amusement- of the Governor.and Lady Ranfurly. The party will leave 'Kotor.ua for Hamilton to-morrow morningl, and will come down to Auckland on Saturday, vie\v~ing the Mercer Regatta en route.
