The barque Wenona went down to the Thames last night to load timber for Melbourne. The barque Ganymede arrived at the Thames yesterday, to load timber for Melbourne. ' The mail steamer Mariposa resumed her .voyage to Sydney, shortly after 6 p.m. yesterday. H.M.s. Tauranga left Wellington for this port at 8 o'clock this morning, and should arrive on Sunday next. The s.s. Waimate is expected from the South next week to complete her loading for London, this being the final port. H.M.s. Ringdove left Suva for Sydney ■on ' 15th inst. The German warships? Falke and Bussard and the British warship Porpoise were in port at Apia on the 17th inst. The s.s. Wakatipu. arrived at Suva from Wellington, on the 16th inst, and was to leave on Tuesday last for Auckland with a cargo of raw sugar. The outward Frisco mail steamer Ala- ' meda is due from Sydney to-morrow, and leaves for San Francisco at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Her mail is due in London on December 2Sth. The steamer Taieri was to have left Suva for Auckland on Saturday last with the Government steamer Clyde in tow, the latter vessel coming here for overhaul. The s.s. Glenelg, with the Southern portion of the Mariposa's English and American mail, arrived at New1 Plymouth from Onehunga at 2.30 a.m. to-day, and the mails were forwarded to Wellington by a special train.
