The remaining inhabitants were seriously alarmed. The Glenelg was sent to Kawakawa last night and many Europeans spent the night;aboard. The natives after making a demonstration returned to Wainia.
■An official telegram has just been received of a reassuring nature. Yesterday afternoon 200 .armed natives from Wairna appeared at llawene.
