AN INFANT DROWNED

A child three and a-half years of a<;e named Harold Neild, son of Mr ,J. Neild, bucher, at Mount Wesley, Kaipara, was drowned by falling off the Mount Wesley wharf on Tuesday evening. The body was soon recovered, and efforts made to restore animation, but without avail. Mr A. Neild, uncle of the child, recovered the body a couple of hundred yards down the stream.
