SYDNEY, January 26,

There was a large attendance to-day at the cricket match Victoria v. New South "Wales, The wicket was sticky. The A'jutorians' first innings closed for 187. AVorrall (103) and Stuckey (31) were the chief scorers. Newell took 8 wickets for 56, McKibbon 2 for 68. The New South Wales' second innings only resulted in 90 runs. Donnan (19) and Gregory (15) were the top scorers. Trofct secured 5 wickets for 21, Roche 3 for 29, Trumble 2 for 24. With 177 to win the Victorians began their second innings, and at the close of the day had knocked up 150 for the loss of six wickets. Worrall made 33, McMichael 30, and Bruce (not out) 33.
