NQRTH SHORE V. BLAND HOLT

COMPANY.

A friendly cricket match was played at the North Shore yesterday afternoon between the North Shore Cricket Club and a team from Mr Bland Holt's Dramatic Company. The game resulted in a win for North. Shore by 26 runs and 3 wickets. The Bland Holt team batted first and put together S3, the only players who scored more than four runs being W. Ford (34) and Montgomery (18), who made a capital stand at the beginning of the innings. North Shore replied with 109 for the loss of seven wickets, the chief scorers bein^ Wright (46) and Walker (36). The other wickets were disposed of very cheaply, Montgomery capturing three wickets for four runs and Stanley three for 32.
