THAMES, this day.

At the inquest on the body of James Algernon Pledger Taylor, aged one year and' nine days, held yesterday afternoon, the jury returned a verdict that deceased met "is death by being accidentally strangled, and the jury say that by accident and by no other means was death caused.

The Ben, A. J. Caiman arrived here from Paeroa shortly before six o'clock yesterday evening, accompanied by two nieces and his Private Secretary, Mr Wilson.
